Discovering What Makes You Whole
Look at how far you have journeyed through life and look at where this journey has led you.
Look beyond your struggles in life and the burdens you have had to carry.
Where has all this led you to? And how have you been changed by it?
Life being life would be fair and unfair to each and every one of us.
We each have gone through something in life or at least we will.
Being it betrayal, hurts, and disappointments. Loss, break-ups, or the struggle in life.
Life has a way of taking so much from us and in a way making us incomplete
how then can we be whole when we have so much taken already from us already
I have searched for happiness and wholeness my whole life
Maybe it’s cause I’ve always believed something was missing, although I wasn’t quite sure what.
but it became clear to me as the journey went on
Happiness is something that we all strive for in life. Yet, it’s a feeling that can often be elusive and hard to come by. Many of us spend our entire lives searching for it, only to find that it’s always just out of reach. But the truth is, what makes us happy and whole has always been around and within us.
Life has taken me on a journey where I have stumbled on some secrets to happiness.
We all have the keys to open the doors of our happiness, many are trying to open the right door with the wrong keys.
In this article, I’ll bring to light 4 of these secrets to happiness I have stumbled on.
Number 1: Find That Which Makes You Whole
The first step to finding happiness in life is to discover what makes you feel whole. What activities or experiences bring you the most joy and fulfillment? Take some time to reflect on this question and make a list of the things that come to mind. It could be spending time with loved ones, engaging in a favorite hobby, pursuing a meaningful career, or even just taking a quiet walk in nature.
Once you’ve identified these sources of joy and fulfillment, make a conscious effort to incorporate them into your life on a regular basis. Schedule time for the activities that bring you happiness, and prioritize them in your daily routine. By doing so, you’ll create a sense of balance and purpose in your life that can help to cultivate happiness and contentment.
Number 2: See The Beauty In Life
“If you can’t see the beauty in the world beautify your life and let the world, see the beauty in you”
Another key to finding happiness is cultivating a sense of wonder and appreciation for the beauty around us. Take time to notice the small moments of beauty that often go unnoticed in our busy lives. Whether it’s a beautiful sunset, a kind word from a stranger, or the sound of birds singing in the morning, these small moments can bring a sense of joy and gratitude to our lives.
By focusing on the present moment and letting go of distractions and worries, we can open ourselves up to the beauty and richness of the world around us.
The world is already filled with so much ugliness but in all that, we each carry a light and this light can illuminate the darkness in the world around us. We each have our own part to play in the grand scheme of the universe design.
We each radiate an inner beauty that can be seen by others. The beauty of kindness and compassion, love and innovation.
We have our own influence and affluence in the world around us.
Number 3: Let Happiness Find You
It’s important to remember that happiness is not something we can force or chase after. Rather, it’s a state of being that can come naturally when we create the right conditions in our lives. So, instead of constantly striving to be happy, try to let happiness find you.
This means letting go of expectations and attachments to specific outcomes and instead focusing on the present moment and the things that bring you joy and fulfillment. When we stop chasing after happiness and instead allow ourselves to be open to the possibilities of the moment, we can often find that happiness comes naturally and effortlessly.
Number 4: Happiness Is Not Something We Can Acquire
it’s important to recognize that happiness is not something we can acquire like a possession. It’s not something we can buy, achieve, or earn through external means. Rather, it’s a state of being that we can cultivate through our thoughts, actions, and attitudes.
This means taking responsibility for our own happiness and recognizing that we have the power to create the conditions for happiness in our lives. By focusing on the things that bring us joy and fulfillment, cultivating a sense of wonder and appreciation for life, and letting go of expectations and attachments, we can create a life that is rich, meaningful, and full of happiness.
It is true we can’t turn a blind eye to what is happening in the world but we can’t also be part of the ugliness
In the end, we are the light of the world, the sons and daughters of the earth.
We think we are trying to find happiness but its happiness that is trying to find us
I do not know what lies beyond this life, I do not know what awaits us in the afterlife.
as far as I know, We could be writing the very last chapter of our lives
finding happiness in life is a journey that requires patience, self-awareness, and a willingness to let go of old patterns and habits. By discovering what makes you whole.
