As you prepare to leave your twenties behind, you may feel like you’re on a ticking time bomb to get your life together.

I want you to understand that everyone’s journey is different and we are all running different races, and we each have different divine timing, and that it’s never too late to start putting your life together. figuring out important aspects of your life.

Many well-recognized figures such as Henry Ford, Ray Kroc, Sam Walton, and Colonel Sanders didn’t have some part of their lives figured out until their late 40s and for some 50s,

And as you approach your thirties, is not the end of your life, it’s just the start of your third decade here on earth. a great time for reflection and decision-making.

Although there are certain things that everyone should have figured out about their life before hitting the big 30.

And I don’t know how much time you have ahead of you but I want to believe is more than what you have behind you and that you have more time to put your lives, relationships, career, spirituality, and so on together.

Here are 7 things I think people approaching their 30 or already in their 30s should focus on

Number 1 Your Purpose And Meaning

First and foremost, you should start to think about your purpose and meaning in life. This includes both your personal and professional purpose.

Consider what gives your life meaning and how you can positively impact the world. This is a time to reflect on your values and beliefs and determine how they align with your actions and decisions.

If you want to live a meaningful life you should do things that are meaningful,

If you want to live a fulfilling life you should do things that are fulfilling.

A fulfilling life is just what we fill our lives with.

And we each have something that we are filling our lives with already.

So the question is what is it that you are filling your life with? Joy? Happiness? Investment? Parties? Alcohol? In another decade from now what would your life be so enriched with?

Number 2 Your Personal Growth And Development

Next, focus on personal growth and development. This includes learning new skills, exploring new hobbies, and pushing yourself out of your comfort zone.

One of the things that affected me was that I was comfortable staying in my comfort zone and therefore I was wrapped in the form of cocoon and coziness not until I started taking risks, then getting out of my comfort zone, and then I started experiencing a whole new level in life.

There are beautiful things that lie beyond our comfort zone, there are opportunities that are waiting for us just beyond our comfort zone.

If only some of us can just get out of this zone, there is a whole new world of adventure awaiting us.

And yes, it comes with its own ups and down, good and bad but it’s a beautiful adventure and when you look back to your life years from now you would be happy with the fact that you made certain decisions, and you did certain things that lie beyond your comfort zone.

Challenge yourself to try new things and take on new responsibilities. This is a time to focus on personal development so that you can continue to grow and evolve as a person.

Number 3 Your Career Path

Moving on, your career path is one of the most important things you should figure out before turning 30. It’s time to take a step back and assess whether you’re happy with your current career or whether you need to make a change.

Take the time to figure out what you’re passionate about and how you can turn that into a career. Consider what skills you have and what skills you need to acquire to achieve your goals. It’s important to remember that your career path may change several times throughout your life, but it’s important to have a solid foundation to build upon.

Number 4 Your Life Goals

Approaching your thirties, you should have a good idea of your life goals. This includes both short-term and long-term goals. Think of it like a road trip, and you need to plan your route. Take the time to evaluate where you are now and where you want to be in the future. Make a plan for how you will achieve your goals and take the necessary steps to make them a reality.

We all have goals that we have set in life, things that we want to achieve, and places that we want to visit.

Businesses that we want to start, certain heights that we want to attain, and somehow with life challenges we don’t aim for these targets anymore, we have them at the back of our minds but that’s just where it has been for years now.

What are your goals? And what are the things that you want to achieve? What mark do you want to leave? What will be your legacy? And as you go about finding answers to this question and the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, as you challenge yourself to achieve your life goals, you are not only changing your life but that of those around you and the future you carry within you.

Number 5 Your Health And Wellness

Your thirties are a good time to prioritize your health and wellness. This includes both physical and mental health. Make sure you’re getting regular exercise and eating a balanced diet. If you haven’t already, start going to regular check-ups with your doctor and dentist.

It’s also important to take care of your mental health by managing stress, practicing self-care, and seeking help if you need it.

Number 6 Your Relationships

By the time you reach your thirties, you should have a good idea of what you want in a relationship.

Back in your twenties, you met all sorts of people, while some are important to your life and future, some aren’t anymore and should be given less priority in your life, not that they are not important.

They just don’t share the same values and goals you need in this new chapter or phase in your life

Think of your relationships like a garden. It’s time to weed out the toxic people and nurture the healthy ones.

This includes both romantic and platonic relationships. It’s important to surround yourself with people who lift you up and support you. Evaluate the relationships in your life and determine if they are healthy and positive. If not, it may be time to cut ties and focus on building new, healthier relationships.

Number 7 Your Financial Situation

Lastly, your thirties are a critical time to get your finances in order. See it like a financial obstacle course, and it’s time to start training. At this point, you should understand your income, expenses, and debts well.

If you don’t already have a budget in place, now is the time to create one. You should also start thinking about your long-term financial goals, such as saving for retirement, buying a home, investments, and also your kid’s future. It’s like a marathon — slow and steady wins the race. So, it’s important to develop good financial habits early on so that you can set yourself up for a secure financial future.

Final Thoughts

These are just a few aspects of our lives I think we should focus on strongly.

There are other aspects and areas too we can work on maybe in a later article.

We could touch on topics like spirituality, marriage and parenting, rituals, standards, and much more.

The pressure to figure out your life can be overwhelming, but it’s important to take a step back and assess what’s truly important. Think of it like a puzzle — you need to fit all the pieces together to create a beautiful picture.

And life honestly I would say can be messy and unpredictable. Instead, let’s think of it as a journey of discovery, with plenty of twists and turns along the way.

With that being said, I can’t say for sure how much time we all have ahead of us, but I think these are definitely some things worth considering as you approach this milestone of hitting 30. By focusing on your career path, financial situation, relationships, health and wellness, personal growth and development, life goals, and purpose and meaning, we are setting ourselves up for a fulfilling and successful life.
